I'm very late in posting this as, well, I've been focusing hard on the current work in progress. The Locus Recommended Reading List for 2012 is out. Congrats to everyone that is on the list! It's an impressive crop. The list of folks I'd like to personally congratulate is super long and probably boring to you, and really, I need to get back to work. (I've got to finish these edits by the end of March or so.) But just in case you haven't heard, And Blue Skies from Pain is also er... on the Locus list. (Thank you!!!) I'm thrilled to death to be included with such a talented bunch of writers. Really, I am.

In other news, I turned in the first 100 pages of Cold Iron to my agent last night. I've got another 250+ to go. [deep breath] I've paused on the first draft of the second novel while I sort out things with the first. Still, I plan to be finished with it in a couple of months. This is all a very good thing, really. It feels pretty wonderful to have so much work in progress. Seriously.
