Today's post will have to be short. (I'm closing in on a number of deadlines all at once.) So, I'll resort to a link. Here's a recent article about Gloria Steinem. I'm happy to see she's still working for women's rights at the ripe age of 77. That's really cool. She's long been a hero of mine, actually. So much was accomplished during the 1970s. I can't even begin to describe the difference she made. It was huge. Young women who aren't familiar with the era just have no idea. Although, sometimes I feel we are going through a similar time, culturally, but on a bigger, world-wide scale. The riots in London last week reminded me a great deal of the riots in London during the '70s. History repeats itself. That's for sure.
